The Pines Golf Resort & Spa, Digby, Nova Scotia - July 6 - 9, 2008

A charitable golf experience like no other! Established in 1987 as the Canadian Airlines International Golf Classic and now known as The EAST COAST CLASSIC, this tournament has a reputation for outstanding value, corporate networking, camaraderie and superlative live entertainment. For 22 years, through the outstanding support of golfers, corporate teams, sponsors and volunteers almost $1.4 million has been raised to support amateur athletes, celebrate sport heritage and make a difference to communities in Nova Scotia.

With our gaze firmly fixed on the future, we look forward to the event’s third decade with renewed enthusiasm and higher expectations. The East Coast Classic has become recognized as one of the most prestigious and successful fundraising golf tournaments anywhere in Canada. This annual extravaganza of Maritime hospitality and fellowship is highlighted by an outstanding field of star-studded celebrities from the world of sport, entertainment and broadcasting. Each year, 190 golfing enthusiasts (38 teams) and their Celebrity Captains participate in a 4 day / 3 night ‘all-inclusive’ package at the beautiful Pines Golf Resort & Spa on the Bay of Fundy in Digby, Nova Scotia.
